GRAND PRIX's PUT IN WORDS

SPAIN - Catalunya

Spanish Grand Prix in Catalunya was the first ever Grand Prix of RacePlace Formula 1 Championship. The pole and the victory were took by Dusko Avramovski. Since they past Turn1 right from the start he pulled away to the end with something less than 28 seconds to second placed Gorgi Ristovski who passed tremendous long way from being 2nd then 6th and back on 2nd to the end. Greatest dissapointment of the GP was Darko Ristovski. Most unlukcy was Filip Galevski.

MONACO - Monte Carlo

Monaco Grand Prix as Round 2 in the Championship being so hard track with walls being so close and those big speeds which require great reflexes were really big trouble for the drivers who barelly know each other. So this track came up pretty much too early! The pole was divided by only fractions, unable to detect with naked eye! -0.006 was the difference from the pole to being 2nd and 3rd with only +0.045.

The Monaco GP went, as usual, with accidents and problems, such was Lap2 when leaders Gorgi and Dusko found themselves passing at high speed around backmarker who has hit the wall and left some debries on track. After nearlly crashing into the spinned backmarker and great avoid by both G.Ristovski and D.Avramovski, Kodi entered with such speed that he crashed directly into the backmarker, as both Ristovski and Avramovski past, they touched in the next turn so they both went for the pit-stop for new wings and Teo Stojanovski seized that opportunity who build up a 28 seconds lead, but it was before he made his 1st Pit-Stop that he lost that 28 seconds gap to Dusko Avramovski who took the lead and went for the victory with astonishing driving. Gorgi being with huge huge problems was true miracle how he succeed in getting back on 3rd. After the race Dusko was found guilty in the accident with Gorgi Ristovski and he was handed penalty time which moved him on 3rd. Victor was Teo Stojanovski.

CANADA - Montreal

When the Canadian GP came in the "paddock" i.e. the sim-racing store, more or less everyone already were knowing each other and had already formed an opinions of the drivers in the Championship, personality and on track character, while Avramovski came with bonus of motivation who believed that an injustice was done to him being penalized thus losing, what he belied, his victory. After hard battle on the qualifications Gorgi Ristovski once again took the pole and Dusko Avramovski was now 2nd place right behing him. The winner from Monaco GP Teo Stojanovski and other pace-setters like Kodi Nikola, Filip Galevski and Darko Ristovski who all performed really great on the previous two GP were behind. Since the lights went off Avramovski went all-in into Turn1 and took over the lead just after 100meters and Darko Ristovski had a great start with passing both Kodi Nikola and Gorgi Ristovski for 2nd but he lost his position from the same drivers to fall down on 4th in the next 2 laps. By the end of first stint of the tyres Avramovski was comfortable with a lead of 7 seconds. Behind there was a hard battle for 4th between Teo Stojanovski and Darko Ristovski, Kodi Nikola was second and Gorgi Ristovski right behind on 3rd. Laps later after 1st PIT-STOP Avramovski received a message being penalized with "driving through the PIT" cause of touching the white-line at the exit of Pit-Stop. Angrilly enough Avramovski continued on another 2 laps driving fastest lap of the race and entering the pit with needed GAP in front, now 2nd placed Gorgi Ristovski, with 8.8 seconds behind! Avramovski went through and came out right on time to block the racing-line while G.Ristovski almost touched his rear wing! That was a great reason for one astonishing ending! Both went all-in to the end! 8 Laps Remained. Gorgi Ristovski unwilling to let Avramovski increase the GAP set the fastest lap in the race on very next lap but the next lap Avramovski returned the hit with an almost 1 second faster time of G.Ristovski's same lap and went away with 1.5 GAP which meant no DRS for G.Ristovski. In the closing laps G.Ristovski was 3 seconds away from Avramovski, now on last lap came down on 1.5 and on the hairpin he lost control of the car, Avramovski after 8 laps saw there is no one in the mirrors, and he started celebrating before the last chicane! He won his 2nd victory in 3 GP's and was now leading with 65 points to T.Stojanovski's 55 and G.Ristovski's 54.

Race finished 1st Avramovski 2nd G.Ristovski 3rd Teo Stojanovski 4th D.Ristovski and 5th Kodi Nikola

Biggest dissapointment was Antonio Ivanov who crashed on opening laps.

GREAT BRITAIN - Silverstone

Silverstone GP came and it was Teo Stojanovski who got his first pole with his last phenomenal lap. Avramovski couldnt belive he lost the pole once again and he came 2nd once again while G.Ristovski was 4th and his brother Darko 3rd. Teo Stojanovski went away with the lead from the start and Darko Ristovski returned to Avramovski's pass in Monaco when the events were the other way around, but for a short time, as Avramovski returned on 2nd position in the next 2 Turns.

On 6-7 Lap of the race Avramovski managed to put some pressure on the leader Teo Stojanovski who eventually made small mistake and fall on 5th position, D.Avramovski took the lead and since then, already with his different strategy than his closest rivals with 1 PIT STOP less and equal driving in terms of the times per lap he drove alone to the end for an excellent 3rd win in 4GP's and extending the leadership on 90 points. Behind it was Kodi Nikola who was also on soft tyres while T.Stojanovski ,Darko and G.Ristovski on supersoft and a PIT STOP more but his mistakes in the battles with G.Ristovski then T.Stojanovski and latest with D.Ristovski he suffered a lot and couldn't win the podium. So far now Teo Stojanovski Dusko Avramovski and Gorgi Ristovski all took every podiums, G.Ristovski managed to win the 3rd position after his great management of the tyres which lasted with only 2 PIT-STOPS yet on supersoft.

ITALY - Monza

In Italy Teo Stojanovski won his 2nd pole position and now two row and Avramovski still havent won his 2nd pole for almost 3 months. T.Stojanovski and Avramovski pulled away in race of their own! Avramovski on supersoft, T.Stojanovski on soft went on to a fight that lasted more 15 laps driving one behind each other and passing from time to time. It was a breath taking race for both, without a moment to breathe and the viewers around enjoyed. Avramovski right away from the start pushed for the lead wherever he could and eventually he got it at the end of S2 before and through Ascari turns into the long straight. In the next lap Avramovski made mistake and then he must cut the T1 chicane and after in order to escape penalty he let Stojanovski go after 3 Turns. Behind it was ongoing furious battle between D.Ristovski and his brother G.Ristovski with Kodi Nikola and Antonio Ivanov, followed by Darko Jovanovski. The brothers touched once again and D.Ristovski's race was now in vain. Meanwhile Avramovski caught once again and past Stojanovski, then Stojanovski returned and past once again Avramovski for the lead before entering the pit. Avramovski, weird but true, lasted lap longer on supersofts and with that lap he went in front Stojanovski for a second and a half, but on Soft tyres now which meant that now they have equal tyres and T.Stojanovski was faster but Avramovski was blocking every attack, everytime, everywhere T.Stojanovski tried! Finally when it seemed that T.Stojanovski got Avramovski on the straight line, going from the inside on Turn1 Avramovski closed his angle by staying wheel-to-wheel right to the braking point where T.Stojanovski didn't had another options but back off and try wide from behind, Avramovski closed! It was phenomenal defending trick but on the very next chicane Avramovski couldn't hold him no more and on braking T.Stojanovski touched him, Avramovski spinned and while Avramovski returned on the track Stojanovski needed to hold up a bit to wait and let Avramovski pass to avoid penalty. It was then when G.Ristovski caught the two and joined them to the end. Laps later Stojanovski enters the pit and left Avramovski and G.Ristovski who was closing down the GAP to fight to the end for the victory! G.Ristovski caught Avramovski and after 2 passes on the straight, right after and before Turn1 chicane Avramovski using drag from behing used to get speed and defend on braking point twice in two laps! On second chicane G.Ristovski went wide and risky close to Avramovski so when avoiding the rear of his, Ristovski spinned on the same place, then Avramovski finally after 22 full fighting laps, took breath in last 4 laps and won the Monza GP which would have been his best ever victory! G.Ristovski was 2nd and Teo Stojanovski finished 3rd.

GERMANY - Nurburgring

Qualifications for the German GP of Nurburgring were won by Avramovski who finally took his 2nd pole position after pause of 3 months and 4 GP's. On second place came D.Ristovski with fantastic lap yet not good enough to win his first ever pole. Truth is both Avramovski and D.Ristovski have their own history on this very same circuit, both remembering 10y ago when they, in their own small championship were fighting for the victory in 30 laps race driving one behind each other without single mistake, Avramovski won the race through the pit-stops. But now D.Ristovski was more than motivated to see the other way around, and he for sure had more quality than needed to do that, but what was about to happen was great intro for the race! Lights went off and the race was restarted due to techinchal problems with Avramovski. Avramovski now was put on the last 14th place on the grid and D.Ristovski on the pole! This was very promising! In the restart, since the lights went off for the second time D.Ristovski was nothing short of the first start and he put shadow on everyone with fading away on first two-three laps leaving behind everyone to fight for the rest of the points. Second was T.Stojanovski with great opportunity to melt down the difference in points for the Driver's Championship. Antonio Ivanov came on third followed by G.Ristovski and F.Galevski, then Avramovski 3-4 seconds away started closing down. While D.Ristovski increased the gap between him and 2nd placed T.Stojanovski, Antonio Ivanov had to deal with faster trio of G.Ristovski, F.Galevski and rellentles Avramovski! Then in the next three laps Avramovski started passing all three and leaving them behind in the same order just one place down. D.Ristovski meanwhile enjoying comfortable lead left chance for mistakes and he did one! He spinned and damaged his car! T.Stojanovski took the lead with Avramovski who came on 2nd all the way back from 14th. On the same lap T.Stojanovski visited the PIT which meant 2 pit-stops for him, while D.Avramovski continued sure he will be 1 short of every other, he now had great chance to win his 4th consecutive victory, but then on LAP 12, leading with 1 then increasing on 2 and 3 seconds to 2nd placed now G.Ristovski who passed Antonio Ivanov, entered the pit and problems with the pit-stop meant Avramovski saw his first retiring! G.Ristovski took the leadership driving calm and concentrated on the tyres with only 1 pit-stop forgot on T.Stojanovski who was closing the GAP from behind with new tyres on 2 pit stop strategy than in the end proved to be better. Final Lap came and G.Ristovski couldn't do anything but let T.Stojanovski pass, so it happened on the Turn1 in the final lap of the German GP for Nurburgring. Teo Stojanovski won his 2nd victory and closed on only 2 points to Avramovski in the Driver's Standings! G.Ristovski came on only 10 points with Avramovski still leading with 115, Teo Stojanovski 113 and Gorgi Ristovski 105.

Antonio Ivanov finally won his long time wanted podium and it was first time that someone else got on the podium and it was not the trio of Avramovski-G.Ristovski and Stojanovski.

SINGAPORE - Bay Marina

Singapore Qualifications could be won once again by Dusko Avramovski who was more than happy to join the only two who have won poles in row, G.Ristovski and Stojanovski, but in the last day G.Ristovski passed him by -0.200 and D.Avramovski returned but not enough, leaving him behind for just +0.055. And when it was thought like it was over, in the last minutes before Quals were officially finished, Filip Galevski drove, an astonishing lap! Fighting all the way down before the last S3 where himself, G.Ristovski and D.Avramovski were more or less equal, F.Galevski like he found a special line, he went through the last turn faster than anyone else before and made the difference with which he won his first pole and the pole with the greatest margin ever so far now! It was -0.318 to the 2nd placed G.Ristovski!

The race started and Filip Galevski pulled away alltogether with G.Ristovski, while on 3rd it was tighten between D.Jovanovski and T.Stojanovski who both squised D.Avramovski and while that, T.Stojanovski and D.Avramovski touched which resulted with car problems for Avramovski and he was now after the awfull start left to defend from Kodi Nikola for his 5th position. Behind it was D.Ristovski who was waiting his chance and Antonio Ivanov following on 8th, Igor Sekulovski 9th and Aleksandar Stefanovski on 10th. On Lap2 D.Jovanovski in pursue for high 2nd of G.Ristovski spinned and broke his front wing, down the track T.Stojanovski on the tight and high curbs lost controll and lost his front wing either. That meant Avramovski promoting on 3rd position with Kodi Nikola following for a short time since in the next lap he also lost control in turn1 and lost his front wing too. The order was following, F.Galevski leading with 5 seconds, G.Ristovski, Avramovski, G.Ristovski, A.Ivanov and Igor Sekulovski leaving too far behind Aleksandar Sekulovski, Darko Jovanovski and Teo Stojanovski on last.

F.Galevski entered the pit before everyone else and next lap G.Ristovski and Avramovski both entered in the same lap which meant leaving the lead to F.Galevski once again, with D.Ristovski chaing his supersofts earlier he had driven faster lap which meant he passed Avramovski through the pits and was now on 3rd. D.Avramovski with PIT-STOP less was needed only to maintain the gap.

By the end of PIT-STOP 2 F.Galevski went too far with 8 laps on supersofts which meant he blown his front right tyre and had no other chance but to drive whole lap with tyre puncture. G.Ristovski passed and Avramovski was closing down now on 3rd with D.Ristovski making his 2 PIT-STOP but since G.Ristovski took the lead from F.Galevski he experienced techincal problems and stopped the car!  D.Avramovski now took the lead and started controling the race the way he wanted! With PIT-STOP less he was more than sure to be enough for the victory and so it was.

To the end nothing happened but Avramovski won his 5th victory with D.Ristovski winning 2nd and first podium, also first for F.Galevski with 3rd place. This meant Avramovski came back in the Championship battle with 27 points difference since T.Stojanovski and G.Ristovski didn't succeed in winning points.
