D.Avramovski won Austin's thriller to become first Virtual Macedonian Formula 1 Champion !

17.11.2013 - SATURDAY

Today the race was started with Kodi Nikola from the pole which was his first in RP F1 career while Filip Galevski was surpsingly 2nd and Dusko Avramovski on 3rd while Gorgi Ristovski who needed to score as much points as possible was 5th, in between was Teo Stojanovski who made second row to look-alike his lucky place because he is starting from it some 7-8 races in row.

So, the race started and first problems occured when Filip Galevski while going for the lead went wide and that led to another implications brought from behind by Teo Stojanovski, Timotej Andonovski while Dusko Avramovski to save himself went so wide that he lost his 3rd position and fell on 7th but right away he charged for 3rd in the following 3 laps where many battles and wheel to wheel racing occured.

While all of that was ongoing Kodi Nikola and Filip Galevski were changing the lead, and while they had their own race Dusko Avramovski closed on them very hard before the first PIT-STOPS which was made by F.Galevski and followed by D.Avramovski. Kodi Nikola leading the race with 1 additional lap seemed to be bad strategy because both F.Galevski and D.Avramovski went in front of him by 4 seconds. In front were Gorgi Ristovski and Darko Ristovski with slightly different strategy.

Very shortly after that both were passed by F.Galevski while D.Avramovski was chasing him all the time in between 5 seconds. Gorgi Ristovski was on 6th position and with 8 points only he was good to keep theoretical chances for the Title to Brazil, but then after the 2nd pit stop Avramovski took the lead and from there on there was no stopping him! He exited right in front Kodi Nikola who was on soft and F.Galevski was behind him for one lap and then his brakes like they failed and he just went straight into the tires-wall and he was out! Now D.Avramovski was leading and G.Ristovski needed to finish 3rd but it was impossible, D.Ristovski was simply too fast and he was even beaten by Kodi Nikola in the last lap for the 2nd.

After 7 months and high battles, with equal cars and fixed setups, driving all from one sim-racing place named Race Place, enjoying Recaro seats in agressive and very mentaly though races, sometimes even driven over 40 minutes, chasing thousands parts of the second, Dusko Avramovski won the Title and became the First Virtual Macedonian Formula 1 Champion!

With 8 wins, 4 poles, 9 times starting from the first row and only 3 times from second, with 10 podiums, finishing 11 from 12 races, failing to score only in Germany due to mechanical problems, 4 fastest laps during race, winning 3 from 8 wins in row, having led more than 50% from all laps in total he is rightfully named Champion of 2013 Season with 3 races to spare!

Now we are heading next week towards Brazil's Sao Paolo in Interlagos.

RACE RESULTS

So, we have another 4 GP's but how Avramovski can clinch the title in Austin with 3 races to spare

D.Avramovski has 64 points more than G.Ristovski and if he enters the last 3 with more than 75 points OR 75 equal, it doesn't matter what happens in the next 3 rounds, D.Avramovski will become first RacePlace Virtual Formula 1 Champion.

Simple enough G.Ristovski cannot let D.Avramovski win more than 11 points in the next race.

- D.Avramovski WINS and G.Ristovski doesn't finish higher than 4th (if D.Avramovski wins and G.Ristovski finishes in this situation on 3th and therefore wins 15 points D.Avramovski will have 74p for the next 3 GP's which means G.Ristovski must win each of the remaining 3 races and D.Avramovski doesn't score a point)

-D.Avramovski finishes 2nd and G.Ristovski doesn't finishes higher than 7th

-D.Avramovski finishes 3rd and G.Ristovski doesn't finishes higher than 8th

-D.Avramovski finishes 4th and G.Ristovski not higher than 10th or doesn't finish at all.

You can attend the last 4 GP's in RacePlace sim-racing store on the top (3rd) floor in the City Mall of Skopje, Sunday at 22 o'clock.
