Kodi Nikola won the pole position in Austin !

17.11.2013 - SATURDAY

The Qualifications for the US Grand Prix in Texas, Austin are finished!

After 2 weeks of battling in between F.Galevski was leading the qualifications for most of the time, not most of the time but from day 1 to day 13 and then, in the last day not only that Dusko Avramovski came closer by -0.6 but he closed on +0.040 to take second spot and once again the first row. Dusko Avramovski so far now has 4 poles and started 9 times from the first row, which is a record itself and twice from second row.

After the practice and qualifications Dusko Avramovski said he did all he could and that he was testing the strategy also still learning the track and when he congratulated Filip Galevski for his new pole position, which would have been his 4th equalling Dusko Avramovski's record 4 and also winning it 3 GP's in row, which would have been also new record, that didn't come true because in the last moments Kodi Nikola stormed to the pole position with only -0.027 !

Kodi Nikola won his first pole position, he was very close for it in Suzuka but he was found guilty of going outside of the track and was penalized with 1 second, which put him 8th.

Gorgi Ristovski who needs to finish higher than 4th but not also 4th if Dusko Avramovski wins today is starting on 5th position behind Teo Stojanovski and will have tough battle if he wants to make the podium.

D.Avramovski is leading with 64 points advantage, will he win 11 points more today remains to be seen, if so, he is Champion.

So let's hope for a good race today, in which also the Championship Title might be decided!

So, we have another 4 GP's but how Avramovski can clinch the title in Austin with 3 races to spare

D.Avramovski has 64 points more than G.Ristovski and if he enters the last 3 with more than 75 points OR 75 equal, it doesn't matter what happens in the next 3 rounds, D.Avramovski will become first RacePlace Virtual Formula 1 Champion.

Simple enough G.Ristovski cannot let D.Avramovski win more than 11 points in the next race.

- D.Avramovski WINS and G.Ristovski doesn't finish higher than 4th (if D.Avramovski wins and G.Ristovski finishes in this situation on 3th and therefore wins 15 points D.Avramovski will have 74p for the next 3 GP's which means G.Ristovski must win each of the remaining 3 races and D.Avramovski doesn't score a point)

-D.Avramovski finishes 2nd and G.Ristovski doesn't finishes higher than 7th

-D.Avramovski finishes 3rd and G.Ristovski doesn't finishes higher than 8th

-D.Avramovski finishes 4th and G.Ristovski not higher than 10th or doesn't finish at all.
